That's what I were looking for!

Even knowing what this is used for, I can't find an example of it on the internet. *shrugs*

Looks like a weedwacker head to me...will think about it some more though.

Looks similar to a volatile chemical container lid. The gasket on the rim is to make a vapor tight seal and the springed section presses into the neck to prevent fluid from reaching the gasket.

Nope. If I posted some internal part to a -56 C-130 engine no one would ever get it lol.

Well now I admit I'm stumped.

You sure it's not an engine part? Maybe not a plane engine, but looks like something from an engine.
