That is what these are for. You set these on top of or under the receiver, around where its IR sensor is for where it picks up signal from the remote control. This way, a central controlling device can send signals to other devices via remote control, i.e. this device tells the tv to turn on and the dvd player to start playing when you push play on the controlling device's remote. This way, you can control a wide variety of devices with a single remote.

Yes, indeed this is another of the uses that can be given, or both at the same time.

And I could not have explained better than you with my academic English hahaha :D

Maybe that is to thresh corn.

Well I do not know if it's spelled of this manner in English, is to separate the grain from the cob, I guess.

I dunno, it kind of looks like a robotic suit of armor for, in this case, a corn cob.

I've actually used one of those before on my great aunts farm as a child. They grew their own feed corn for live stock and chickens. I was always fascinated with it as a kid. No telling how ears of corn I ran though thst one.

Yes guys- it was too easy- We had a similiar one come ito my SPCA Thrift Shop and of course it had no ear of hard corn sticking out of it. I had seen one before at Granny's when I was just a kid- so I was pretty sure what it was- I posted picsof it in this thread and many knew-
These took a lot of work to crank by hand and nowadays a load of corn can be shucked in the time it would take you to do a bushell by hand- they made these to last forever - They would make a very good torture device IMO- I would not want this thing cranked with my hand inside. BTW we sold ours for $35- prolly several times what they cost back then.
I imagine many got melted down during WW I and II for the making of tanks etc.
or by youths who never wanted to see one again-lol

I have a silver bullet, very similar.

It is an 18650 mod for a personal vaporizer. 510, looks like?

BTW, I'm on my 2nd week I feel good about it :)

Edit: what is the obvious guess? Also, wouldn't it be neat to make LED and LD attachments for those too?

I think it's a kind of mod electronic cigarette, although the model you put it lacks the atomizer, or cartomizer.

ie a kind of personal vaporizer, as BShanahan14rulz said before, and I think he won.

The exact model I do not know, but there are many models on the market such as The BB from AltSmoke.
