wow, glad your friend came through unscathed! quads are an unforgiving beast when they are rolling down a hill. looks like minimal damage too, did you drive it out? you guys look well prepared with the equipment you brought along, good on you!

Yes there was minimum damage only a bit of a bend in the plastic fender.

Yep it started right up, it is fuel injected so no carburetor to get oil in it from being upside down.

Yes he drove it out just like nothing had happened :)

We didn't take the rescue equipment up till the next day, I had to come home to get it all, good think I had it :D

EFI is awesome for just that reason, except when they roll over and the throttle pins wide open....lol. at least with the carb it can run itself out of fuel....EFI just keeps on pourin the coal to 'er until you get to it, hopefully before the bottom end bearings starve of oil :undecided:

Jeff,

You're old enough to remember what these were like when they only had three wheels

Back in the day, the trike would throw your a$$ off at random times, whenever it felt like it, and take off on its own

Peace,
dave

I used to like the trikes, had a few different ones growing up. if you could get it into your head to never put your foot down they were safe. they were sure a lot more maneuverable than the quads, I kept a couple of the little atc 70s in the shed until my boys were old enough to ride them.

they've since outgrown them, the older boy likes his quad and the younger one is a 2 wheel freak like his pa....:D
