There is lot of talent in this forum. People make lasers, devices, and what not.
I am a photographer, and as many of you know I am into Timelapses.
A few budget camera panning device projects have been successful in kickstarter. Initial price is always around 160-170$ and these devices get quickly sold out. They often go into Retail for 200$+

i HAVE AN idea to make a device for less than 100$. Would any of you be interested in partnering for a kickstarter project.
I will work on the specs, and you actually make the device. You get to decide our volume too.
For example, 100 devices only, and making 5 a day if you can do in less than one month the entire order stuff.

I also believe, since I will just be "designing" and providing the specifications, most of the profits (70% or above) should go to you.

The idea is to make a sub 100$ simple panning device using an ultra slow speed motor and a gear set and a controller
Motor needs to be such that min speed/max speed ~ 20

Anybody interested?
We can discuss this, I can start project on indiegogo and if we are successful, you get the money upfront and then you start the manufacture.

Many kickstarter/indiegogo projects suffer from the over order thing. You have capacity to make 100 but then you get 1000 orders, and guess what, boom, you have disgrunted customers.
Indiegogo can restrict max number of orders. So what say?

Even if it does not work, there is no loss.
