I didn't read 1/2 the posts on this thread. And thanks Frothy for the warning on that link, I'll avoid the need for mental bleach.
This brings me back to what I have been talking about lately, the regression of the human race. Sure these children of today have all kinds of knowledge of computers, video games, cell phones, i-pods, and calculators, but what about what really counts? Like real life? Like street smarts, the essentials of life, the will to progress and strive for honor, righteousness, dignity, respect, responsibility, and love?
Although I am grateful that youtube exists for easily access to entertainment or to share our videos amongst each other, I don’t understand how people can dedicate so much time of their lives toward boosting their internet ego, or make these types of comments, or how they justify themselves by their lack of relevance and ignorance. How people post anything and everything on youtube, or the entire internet for that matter. I don’t understand how people can be fulfilled, eat their “daily bread”, if you will, by seeking internet attention. And I’m not singling out children particularly, although they’re most relevant since they will be the leaders of tomorrow, but it is very depressing when you see someone dedicate their lives to their cyber reality, which exists in their head protected from the true reality that they are behind a computer screen rotting away all the while the infinite beauty of the world awaits their appreciation with infinite gifts, if they would only seek greater, real, progressive goals.
