Here's some of my collection...
Wow, serious firepower... (or should that be slice n dice power, lol).

I can't say I'm into the brass-knuckle stuff (the third image reminding me of a scene from Se7en...) but the fixed knives are pretty impressive! Say, what's that first one, is it an OTF?

btw, what steel are used on both your L.C.C.s?
Mine has a rather rare 20C-V... . Note that by using the term "rare" by no means implies better. This is certainly no S90-V steel... ;p

Gen2 = 154-cm
Gen4 with broken tip = 20c-v

And there are at least 2 of these things that look good on ebay right now. You have to look at the images, as usual, but they look really nice.

There's a 3rd has some weirdness in the listing, the image is of an s90-v, plain edge, DA, but the description lists both that description as well as saying partially serrated 154-cm.

There's a 4th that I think is a manual, and a 5th that I think is a DA as well, but has some serious file work done, and not in my particular taste.

Cool! I'm getting addicted (too) and came across a rough historical review of the L.C.C.

Mine was sold as an S30-V although the image clearly showed 20C-V so I guess sometimes the seller's copying & pasting the specs for a particular version off the net...

Here's a pretty decent collection of images - with accurate specs - of sold L.C.C.s and it would seem that MT chose 20c-v for their LCCs between 11-12/2002...

Yea I know it's suppose to be grip tape, but everyone on the knife forums refers to it as "skate tape" because of it's very harsh grit.

Here's the link to the Piranha's you've asked for;
Piranha Automatic Knives
Thanks for the link, Electron, but I don't feel justified paying $100's of dollars for a quality automatic knife (especially because they are completely illegal here in Cali, and I may have to ditch it if I got rolled).
Lately I have been picking up cheap clones of the Microtech knives.
This one is my latest:
FxCam_1283288910664.jpg

is a cheap (~$45) clone of the original Microtech Makora I.
It seems to still fire flawlessly (after 100's of times):

and the blade is razor-sharp. I can't complain.
But, I still drool over the Microtech Troodon, Scarab and Ultratech. Perhaps someday :(

I have a couple swords from Albion swords, a few folders, and are working on daggers to go with the swords.

I have a couple swords...
Wow, they look pretty cool!

How about a description to go with the pic? For example, what style of sword are they, what is the originating Country / culture and so on.

Thx &

Sorry, they are a bit off topic.
Anyway, Albion call them Vassal and Viceroy.

The Vassal is a falcion, a type of curved blade used in England and Italy.
This particular model is inspired by blades from 1300-1400
(German ones were called Messer and had asymmetric handle and knuckle guard)

The Viceroy is a 1½ hand/longsword of a transition shape between the older cutting blades and the later trusting ones. 1450-1500.

I like them. :D

As for daggers, I have one damask blade that only needs the handle wood finished, and 4 blank carbon steel blades for when I get the time.

Check out my newest knife! It's a Kershaw Damascus Leek. This thing is one of the coolest knives I have. It has a Tungsten DLC handle and a Damascus folded steel blade. It is a gorgeous knife! I love the kershaw leeks, I own three of them. I got it for about 85 bucks shipped.

To all the people who like Benchmade: BOYCOTT Benchmade

Oh and after you're done looking at that, why dont you go buy a few knives from that website....

That's old news (see 1st page of this thread) / I don't agree with Roadside (having spoke to a professional on the topic) and I would definitely not buy anything from an online seller that spends more time trying to defame a company than to sell knives...

I've heard that Knifeworks is very popular among those in the know. Knifeart is also up there. BladeHQ has a large selection (don't know about their customer service though).

Since you seem to be wary of Benchmade then consider CRKT in that price range...
