I have a question regarding this. In 2009 comptia made it so your certifications expire every 3 years. If you want to renew them you have to complete a "continuing education" course.

My question is, if I have A+ cert and just got network+, does getting my network+ renew my A+? I'm getting conflicting answers so I'm not too sure.

Honestly I don't care considering these are entry level certs and I will probably never renew them anyways. I am just more curious than anything.

When did yo get your A+? If it's been less than 3 years, you should be good to go. I got my Security + back in 2010 but it should still be good due to the way things were handled over the past few years. I'm studying for CCNA now.

I got my A+ last year, so does that mean its good for another 3 years starting today?

Anyways, Im going to my security+ next then CCENT which leads into CCNA. After that I may try for CCNA security, or some other security cert.
