I left my BTU shocker flashlight in my car and it got very hot and when I took it out it turned on for a second then it went out and won't turn on anymore . Any ideas what could be wrong with it ? Thanks for the help

You leave batteries in it? The batteries might be shot, they dont like heat at all

I know LEDs dont like a lot of heat either but Id imagine that they produce more heat normally than in a car.

Might be a melted wire inside the light? Hmmm might want to post this on BLF as well. Im sure someone over there has done something similar.
