In Florida we get rain, what is this snow of which you speak? It is alien to me. I'd love to see snow one day though, besides on television. I think the coldest it's ever been here is mid-30's...jealous much?

They haven't been that bad the past few years, been calm. Personally, I could leave and never miss the heat. The winter's are the best time of year, low humidity, nice temps.

We have maybe 4 inches so far. And it's supposed to keep snowing through tomorrow. Ugh.

It's a very fine, lightweight powdery snow. So far. And it's very windy.

I wish I had a laser. I bet it would be pretty in the blowing snow.

It's coming down pretty good here in Long Island... I don't mind the snow, I just hate shoveling.

The snow finally stopped for us, I would say we got at least 18 inches.

Looks like the snow is tapering off, I'd say I got at least 6" out there.

I went out into the middle of the yard this morning with my tape measure. It went down to 12 inches before it stopped. Other places I noticed have much more than that in the form of snow drifts. And wherever the apartment complex plowed overnight, is now a sheet of ice.

What fun. Not. I hate the winter, and snow, and the cold. It's a huge PITA.

Our apartment complex plows our driveway, but in the process they plow us all into our parking spaces. So, I have to shovel my own two vehicles out. And from the wind, my one car has a snow drift in front of and all the way up onto its hood.

AND we still own our old house (not sold yet), so I have to shovel the sidewalk over there, too.

Ugh. Did I mention that I absolutley __H-A-T-E__ snow?

Crazzzzzzy....We are expecting about .5 inch of ice this week!!!! :drool:

Then on top of that, about 6 inches of snow.

I highly doubt that this will happen, since our meteorologist are paid to lie on TV. :)
But we will see how it pans out. Get ready for some awesome pictures people!!!:)

lololol our idiot school system just gave us teusday off too and the roads are completely clear, maybe we'll get wednesday off too, then I'm free for holiday break!!!!!

They probably do that (even if the roads you see are clear) because some (who ride buses) from rural areas don't have clear roads.
