It would be amazing if you could do a diagram of how these are connected, such as what wire goes where and where to hit it for the best sparks and such. Since I'm a pyro of sorts I'm very interested in the possibilities of these things.
just charge up the capacitor then directly short it! not with a screwdriver though, i managed to blow the end off my screwdrive with a capacitor ;Dlol ;D ;D
Hey Rhith. I could sell you the ones you saw in the video for $10 if you paid shipping.
You can use a wall adapter that puts out 35 volts, or some other source to charge them.
In that video, the capacitors were parallel. They DO NOT do good in series unless they are perfectly the same in ratings.
Be sure to always use a light bulb or some other type of resistance for the charging circuit.
You would also love my solar charger which puts out 30 volts. I used it to charge my capacitors outside and started a fire with the sun!! However, using resistance when charging from the sun is not needed and will slow charging if you do. I'll get some pictures of the solar charger I made on here a little later.
Hey things, these 2 capacitors alone are not enough to blow the screwdriver off. However, my next video might have enough power!
