Im just curious, if anyone knows the story behind J.D Patterson, AKA Gadgeteer. He was a highly valuable member of Laser Community and other forums before Laser Community changed. I know he went away but I was just curious if anyone has info, or knows when we could see him again.

I developed quite a friendship with the guy, he was simply awesome.. He did some work for me, and was incredibly knowledgeable on the hobby we love. I can't even say how many phone convo's we had shooting the shit about lasers and what not. Great guy, and Im sad he had to go away. If anyone wants to chime in or know's anything feel free. If he were around today, he would no doubt be up there in the ranks with the very best of LPF.

I'm pretty sure he left before LC starting banning people for talking about other companies, from what I remember he left because he had to go to jail...

I don't recall that. He told me himself that he would be away a while because he was going through a divorce. Than after this I never saw him again.

The divorce was what he said on LC, but IIRC pseudo said that he was in jail.

I wasn't a poster on LC when Gadgeteer was there, but I lurked there all the time. My previous post was worded bad, I didn't mean he was faking the divorce, I just meant that the jail time went along with that. I don't know the whole story so try searching "gadgeteer" on LC to see if you can find anything.

Haha yeah we're talking about pseudonomen137, we are just so used to calling him pseudo because of his long name. :D
