How many of you are into computers? I built this system from scratch. I specked out every part and bought everything separately for this, and I configured and over clocked it myself. What kind of gaming rigs do you guys have?
BTW I built this thing like a year ago. Back then i was king! lol

I can’t wait to save up $700 so I can get an Intel Core2 Extreme QX9650. Right now the CPU I have is worth $30 on eBay, But I've over clocked it to 2x factory frequencies ;D

Not a bad system you have there, I am rebuilding mine now. Heres my current specs anyway...

Motherboard: Some really old thing (upgrading soon)
PSU: 400W Silent (upgrading to 500W)
RAM: 2GB DDR2 (upgrading to 4GB)
CPU: Pentium 4 running at 3.01GHz (upgrading to Pentium Duo)
HDD: 250GB SATA
GPU: Saphire Radeon 9550 256MB (upgrading to nvidia 8800GT)
O/S: Windows XP Professional

Pretty quick system despite the old motherboard and graphics card.

It’s RAD HAT for (radiator hat)

The 2 x 74 GB RAID drives are for the operating system partition. They are two 10,000 RPM raptor drives in RAID 0 mode. I have a second computer with 1.5 terabytes which I use for my data storage over gigabit Ethernet.

Not yet xD I did run a 3DMark right after I built it, but the HD4800 series doesn't perform so good in 3DMark. I guess I could install it later to try.

And Niko, NO WAY! :p I used an old P4 1.7GHz with 256MB RAM until a few months ago, so I deserve this computer :p

Antec case with analog temperature and fan speed gauges
DVD Read/Write
8-slot memory card reader
Three HDD hot swap hard drive system and cooler
Quad-core 64-bit Intel processor at 2.8GHz per core
1066MHz FSB
8 GB of RAM
Dual 8800 GTS 512MB video adapters in SLI mode
Samsung 24" widescreen monitor at 1900x1200 resolution
Windows XP 64-bit
Monsoon sound system.
10 SATA-300 slots
I currently have 1TB of hard drive space.

Extreme? Maybe. There are a few upgrades I could do that would put it over the top but performance per cost ratio doesn't justify it as there isn't a game my system cannot run as is.

Oh cool xtremesystems.org :D Haven't posted there in ages...well since I stopped overclocking. Awesome, seems computer geeks and lasers mix, eh? ;) My nick on there was [ZIZI], still hold a WR ::).

Very nice system.

Here is a pic of my system back in the 754/939 era. (sorry guys for bugging you again with this pic).

And here is my new system a laptop...perhaps the most extreme system of all?!?!?
