Any ham radio operators on LPF?

Just wanted to post this sweet little dual-band handheld radio I found on DX:

The reviews are pretty glowing, and you're not going to get a dual-band 144/440mHz handheld for anywhere near this price anywhere else that I've seen. Plus it's unlocked.. pretty sweet if it's not illegal in whatever country you're in.

I was checking those out a while back. Not bad for the price.

I just ordered one, so I'll have a look firsthand before long..

I let my license expire a long time ago due to just not having time for it, but I'll be taking the tech test again very soon.. saw these little guys and figured it would make a sweet little portable when the time comes. I still have a little 50W dual-band amp that I used to use with my old Icom dual-band handheld.. It's not nearly what i used to have, but it should be a fun time nonetheless.

I wish that it could be modded to TX on 88-108mhz, but someone in the comments said that it couldn't support that high audio bandwidth.

I've received and had a few months to use the handheld I described in the OP. I have absolutely no regrets buying it. It performs brilliantly, and I really don't know what they do to these things but I've never gotten so many complements about the sound of a radio. It makes rated power, and never gets too hot. The LiIon battery pack lasts for a long time per charge, I've had 45 minute plus QSOs and still had 3/4 of a charge left.

The only gripes I have are the lack of DTMF tones and the lack of an external power jack. Given how stellar the rest of the features are for the price I can easily overlook these small issues.
