^Closet 42 clone I've ever seen... I'm surprised there are less flippers on the forum!

I had a couple of the cheap ones when I was a kid. The hinges would wear down really fast. I always wanted to get one of the Benchmade models, but of course I never had the $ back then. Nowadays, there are just too many other things to spend $ on.

just started getting into it recently for the cure for boredom, can't find my camera usb cord and sony couldn't be normal and give it a mini b or something, its a special cord made just for that camera and its expensive to replace. anyways, im semi decent i guess, i can do most of the basic and intermediate stuffs. I usually end up just doing YouTube - Balisong Instructional : Y2K Rollover all day while working or surfing youtube

LOL, i sharpened mine too much, and it's also too heavy, for those types of figures (in fact, i already cut my small finger tip two times, just touching the cut part, and i've noticed it only after 30 or 40 seconds, when the cut start to burn like crazy and i seen small blood spots here and there :p)

Luckily they was not too deep cuts, it only touched the blade cut in the opening arc ..... i always paid a lot of attentions, when i close it, cause with this type of blade and cutting edge, the holder is weight enough for cut your finger til the bone, if you left it between the blade and the holder when it close (and, i bet, that will hurt for sure :p :D)

No such thing as too sharp! There's just a certain thrill you get after catching a double aerial with a razor sharp blade...

Switchblades are illegal to sell, buy, trade, carry or otherwise possess. Part III of the criminal code first defines such knives as prohibited weapons (armes défendues). The Canadian Criminal Code defines the switchblade:
"A knife that has a blade that opens automatically by gravity or centrifugal force or by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in or attached to the handle of the knife." (sec. (84)(1)(b))

Dammit. Pretty much every awesome knife is illegal here :(

I don't own one but I wish I had gotten one of the Benchmade Titaniums while they were available. But yeah they were kind of expensive back then. Every once in a while I check around for them just by chance they offer them again.

I have a cheep one that I've had for many years.
I caution you all to never go into a gunfight armed with one of those.
You might get hurt prior to you ability to inflict harm on an opponent.
Just an observation here ----------

That's exactly what I did.....(going slow) I was ----> " Hmm this ain't so hard"....sped things up a bit......went for the close....no clicky sound, only pain and blood. Then I was ----> "Frakk this". It only came out of the box, for a picture in this thread.

Ouch. But you really have to start slow, I watched basic move tutorials on Youtube and slowly moved up, and I had the edged taped over until I was completely comfortable with the trick. You should start again!

Mike- Really good advice there, never trust any knife but a fixed blade for self defense.
