Here's a d12:
CAD Forum - Block: dodecahedron (_Other)

and here's a d20:

Though, I'm not sure what uses stp files or how to convert them to anything useful.. also that d12 is only 12mm across.. I'm not sure what size you're looking for.

The d20 is perfect, but the d12 looked really ugly in the first program I tried to read it with, just vectors, no 3D rotation, but I'm trying it with another program...and it looks fine in program two. So, I just need a d10...*starts work on the d10*

Update: I've sent sample sets to each of two companies, and they should contact me soon with estimate costs for each dice.

I won't be doing an order page, it'll be more work than it's worth. I'll give my E-mail address for PayPal, or see if there's an easy to do something like that with Google Checkout.

Can you post the actual drawing or file you sent them? I have dealt with machine shops a lot and they know if you can't draw correctly, you don't know how much they should charge you. They will make things cost more.

I have a quote from one company, but I should have a quote from a second company on Wednesday. Should I wait for a sample so I can have pictures, or go ahead and make the new thread with purchasing information and what not? It'll take a month for the sample to be made and arrive at my house.

It depends, is the price fair enough for people to buy it, And how much would the sample cost?

I might be interested as well.

My internet is back, after it was gone all weekend. I was terribly disappointed with the prototype, and I severely doubt that the 'real' ones will be too much better. So, to my great sadness, I will not be doing this GB *sigh* Instead, I'll be buying a set of the mini hematite ones from CrystalCaste.com

Thanks everyone for your interest, and I'm sorry this had to fall through, but at least it was before any money was involved on my part or the part of any of you.

Sorry everyone. :/ The numbers were done by hand, and very poorly at that. The color also isn't right, and to have them polished would be just too darn expensive.

With such a heavy element, it might be better to just have the numbers printed on a solid cube anyway; that way the weighting is balanced. That's why the dice in Vegas have no indentations.

Well, if you can get a good price on unpolished tungsten platonic solids, I'd be happy to polish them myself and paint my own pips on... I have all this diamond polishing compound sitting here and nothing to polish with it.

Do you have any pics of the prototypes? As long as they're accurately machined I don't see a problem with them being unpolished and numberless.
