I ordered goggles for the green but they sent me ones for red, so I sent them back and i'm waiting for the right ones =( I was just looking for a way I could cheat in the meantime while they get shipped to me. oh well hehe this thing is still fun. I'm just not doing alot with it yet till I get my goggles.

Oh and I have a set of Dichromatic filters comming to... thats going to be fun.

i have a 300mw homemade red and this should arrive soon... who says 500mw yellow

i use a triple cube from a rgb overhead projector to mix

only 13% losses on red + blue (shoots through not through the output)(only 1% on green) and no dichros needed
perfect for my first scanner

200mw green and 300mw red should come out this colour

Ouchh.. thats indeed a nasty surprise to pay that much in addition..

glad mine got thru customs with a "Free of tax" stamp

thanks to the coorporation of dr.lava on filling out a small amount of USD on the international customs forms.

i hope to god he did it for mine... i asked in thread but he says he may have forgotten... i estimate i will have to pay around £60 in fees ($120)

I dont think anyone has( i wont with mine) but dr lava did open his sample one.

yob, no chance man. you will most likely break it, as everything is glued tight.

plus, I'm not taking any chances with this, it cost me a lot of money, and it took a long time to get to my hands.

Any idea how to open the aperture cap ? Mine is still blocking some laserlight when it is full ON stand.
I think I could gain 10% more when the hole is perfect center.

For claimed value I tried to follow all the requests that were emailed or PMed to me, sorry if I missed a thread request, it's tough to go through so many pages.

Opening the laser is not reccommended, but one way to do it I think is to unscrew the focus adjustment almost to the stop and then use a pin spanner to unscrew the stop ring behind it.

Its a lot. I tried taking pictures with the dot, but the camera eliminates the halo when it focuses on the bright dot. I will take one when I get off work, however.

Yeah, I tried the stopper ring behind the focus rings but couldn't get it loose. Oh well. I am not going to try any further.

im getting a few hard disk drive actuators, and I am gonna fashion me a laser scanner!!! with this baby, This'll be AWESOME!

I have yet to receive a laser in my life with no scatter around the dot. its ok guys, deal with it.

and to the guy who's shutter is weird: take pics, so we can all see what youre talking about

I was wondering about that carrying case, i'd like one for my S-KY 200 actually. Any chance we can buy those seperatly? and I was wondering about the discount on the goggles that was talked about before. I would like to take advange of that, how do we go about doing so?

P.S I am very happy with this monster. I have big plans for it. Thank you to Dr Lava and Betty for making this happen and an incredible price.
