SenKat, I think it is a wonderful idea to put a donation button up. I would send a buck!

Oh, and don't feel like your ripping people off with that buck. You supply us with plenty of info about diodes that is worth it. ;)

Hey, is it still possible to get two Aixiz modules with my shipment? Question is, because diodes will arrive tomorrow (hopefully, but PP will take 3 days to arrive! Is that still possible? I ordered nine from DX, but forgot that I need 11 :)

If yes, add two to my order, and I will immediately PP you the money.

Order away - but if you can use Google Checkout, I prefer that....it takes all major credit cards, visa, mastercard, etc....

Otherwise, you have to send an extra 50 cents PER item you want.

DIODES ARE HERE !!! All shipping will commence tomorrow, and finish up by Saturday :) Goodnight, all !

Yay! I'll need to see what these little babies can do. Now, I'm wishing I had the $$$ for a laser power meter so I can test the Aixiz 200mw red they sent me. It looks good so far, and about the same as a pull from a DVD drive. Any recommendations on a cheap (non-exact) setup to get me a ballpark figure on power output?

Already have the Aixiz module and the Dorcy metal gear flashlight i found on eBay should be here Friday!
Just need to go to my local electronics parts store to get the components for the regulator.

I hope the RoyalMail sort themselves out before my Diodes hit the UK. There is NO post in or out now for the next 5 days!! (until next Wednesday - the strike started yesterday)

That REALLY sucks! I remember a few years ago a bad snowstorm kept UPS from getting out of their hub US city and packages all over the US were delayed right around Christmas time...
So much for on time guarantee!

Hail Senser! We who are about to burn salute you! ;D

Also, thanx SenKat, for your link to WL that gives a discount on their Lasershades which are a good match for your red burners (both diodes and modules, i.e., pointers). This is one (and only?) thing WL does as well or better than anyone else. As we all know, but prolly can't be reminded often enuff, stuff happens when dealing with lasers--and this goes more than double with burners! So, we need to remember that we are fugitives from the law of averages, and that proper goggles can help us stay at large for a long time. :-?
