I live here in Hong Kong, practically at driving distance from DealExtreme. I noticed how US customers can't get lasers from DX anymore, and thought I could reship them for people. However, I will only be able to do this if there are enough people, but if there ARE enough people interested, shipping would be very very cheap. I just went through the costs of bulk mail, and I think if we get 50 laser pointers the shipping price to the US would be around only $2 for each. This is airmail and takes about a week, the exact same service DX ships with as far as I know.
There might be a few other costs such as packaging, but it would still remain very cheap. Let's see how many interested people we can get.[/edit]
Reshipping DealExtreme Lasers to Anywhere via Hong Kong!
This GB is focused on bringing you DX items where DX will no longer send them. The price depends entirely on the weight of the laser. Estimated prices will be set, which will generally be higher than the actual cost. I cannot calculate the actual cost until I have packaged the items for shipment, so when I have, I will refund the amount of money that was paid in excess to each buyer. At this point I will be able to fix the costs for the next round, and this will no longer be a problem.
The postage is registered airmail, meaning I do get a number that can be used to trace the package if it does not arrive within x weeks. I've never had to do this, so I have no experience with this procedure, but its good to have it anyway. Shipping usually takes less than a week but handling time at the destination can be a few days to one or two weeks in rare cases.

Procedure:
The GB is open now. Please post your order, and I will post the price here. You should then transfer the amount with PayPal to me. Once I receive payment, I will tick you off the list. I will wait for at least 5 different orders before getting the items from DX.
I will then unpack and test the lasers to see if they work properly and if anything is broken. If everything is fine, I will ship them to you.
Once they are shipped, I will refund the extra shipping costs.
Then I will set the prices for different items, as I will then know the weights of some of the items, and start a new round.
Pricing:
You will need to pay me for:
- The DX item you want
- Shipping and packaging costs
- Paypal fees (3% of the total).
- Optional insurance is 15% of the total price.
Payment:
At the moment I only accept PayPal for this GB, it is the safest way to pay.
Payment must be in US Dollars, if you have a different currency in PayPal please convert it first.
Send money in PayPal and choose to send payment for Goods.
Include at least your nickname and your order in the message box.
