I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be included, and yeah put his prices on the front page, maybe saying prices could be lower if the order is larger :)

Hi,

Newbie here...

I'm interested in this GB for a RPL. Let me know what I need to do, and when I need to do it.

Thanks

Hi,
a GB directly from viasho may be a better idea.

When the lab at my university bought 12 lasers from them, we got a very good deal. Nice price and way overspec lasers. They charged less than half the original opto price. Customer service was optimal.
Opto are good, but prices nowhere near a direct GB from viasho
Good Luck

Wow!...>50% off the posted original Optotronics prices? Sounds like you know the right person(s) to speak with at Viasho.

I wonder if your "university" discount would tend to be greater than discounts available to a "general public" group buy?

The regular MSRP from viasho is already almost 50% less than opto prices without any group buy at all

Hi GooeyGus,
Viasho builds our RPL modules to our specs, but the RPL is not the generic Viasho pointer sold to many 3rd party retailers across China.
I think this was stated earlier in this thread or one related to it. If a lower price with lower performance, specs and warranty are what everyone wants, then do a Vaisho groupbuy.
If a high peformance, tight spec'd professional grade portable laser is what some poeple are in need of, I'll work with John and or Glenn to make an RPL groupbuy happen.

I see. I didn't know that....

...So the prices with this Viasho group buy should be as low as you can go for a "tight spec'd professional grade portable laser", correct?

I am still looking into dealing with Viasho, and if not, I will do the best I can with Jack, but it also helps to justify going to Viasho direct if we are getting a dozen or more lasers in an order, so get friends to pipe in here if a true quality portable laser is the item they want! I will likely start a new thread when it is time to order, btw so watch for it! -Glenn

SOunds good. Their brightlife diodes and no duty cycle seem to be a step up. Worth getting.

I might have to get a 165 watt :( maybe upgrade it later due to funds. I am working more though :)
