Bah I need something in the 5 - 25W region, ideally one of those high power diodes with fibre optic guide and focussing lens....that would be sweet :p *drool*

I went ahead and assembled the drive electronics to the tubes and got them set up for plug and play- JUST ADD ELECTRICITY! Since this was a NOT so trivial undertaking i have increased the price to $150, delivered in the USA, and $175.00 overseas. I have 11 plug and play units that are ready to go, and zero bare working tubes left!

I have LOTS of 5 weak or dead tubes for $100 delivered in USA or 145 delivered abroad. At that price it's worth it just for the OPTICS alone! I found also the stone dead tubes when removed from their heatsink make very powerful CB transmitter antennas as wellY

Anyway, ou'll get 1 or 2 that light up and may lase at a watt or so, these have the OC mirror misaligned, gentle tweaking can fix it, but since there is a risk of blowing the indium seal and i'm out of the RF drive assemblies i don't have the time to do this. You also will get 3 that don't light up with RF applied, though they may or may not light up-even lase with HV dc applied.

When i run out of them, THAT's IT, all gone, FOREVER!

I think so. Sounds like fun really, you just need to find a giant box, or make one out of wood, just wont bounce the beam back and light the box its in on fire ::) ::) :p

I would jump on these, they are more fun than people realize I haven't touched any of my other lasers since I got my first one of these. I dont think the new will ever wear off, the most fun is building the housing and the looks you get when you push that button and the plywood across the room fires up in flames with an invisible beam its just downright impowering!!!! we love these Chris thanks also for all you tech. help its been great doin bussiness with you... :D thanks again Lynn :D

Daguin, you wont regret it, all of us have really been having a good time with these, Hemloc Mike and I are building beam expanders for ours I cant wait to see how they come out :D but these lasers will light up plywood 4 to 10 feet as is and my first one is only 7 watts hoping to get a little more power on the next 2. I have a youtube on my build if you look up, rf co2 laser, it showes a picture at first of a bluish green candle sitting on top of a little black astron power supply, its pretty funny I keep droping the camera,, it starts out with a news paper spinning for the special effects that my Son added in the film, anyway we had fun with it take it easy check it out if you want..... best wishes Lynn :D

No video found for "rf co2 laser".  I got hits on just "co2 laser" but none starting with a spinning newspaper.  Ya got a link or a user name?

looks like you found it so you have a little bit of an I deal of what your getting  I should get two more tomorrow I just bid on a 28 volt 10 amp supply 55.00 shipped :D varrible with meters I found it under Lambda power supplys On ebay buy it know for fifty I offered 20.00 and they accepted the offer itcame to 55 shipped this is good this is real good ;D

If these are the full PNP-versions for $150 -US, I have to "cave-in" and get one. All I have to add is DC-electricity, they come with the RF-units?

What kind of power output can we expect from these - my meter won't go this high? :eek:

Just wondering if they are in the 8-15W range...

These lasers are a minimum of 5W and a maximum of 12W some fine tuning is possible as well.
