Put me down for two. Do you harvest?

. . .and could you press it into a module for me?

. . .and maybe solder some wires to the pins?

. . . while you have the soldering iron out, could you solder a driver to it? If you don't have one, it's OK with me if you build one for it.

. . . .and make a heat sink?

. . .OH! and place it all in a really cool looking host? It's OK if you have to modify the host a little, as long as you can't tell it from the outside.

. . . I like blue. ;)

. . . Don't worry about the batteries, I'll put them in myself. This IS a DIY project after all. I want to know what it feels like to build one myself.

. . . . I'll focus it myself too (if you will post a tutorial on how to do it)

. . . . Hey! If you have a set of batteries there could you just send them along?

. . . .I'll give you $5 extra for your trouble

Thanks! :)

You would be surprised how many peoples first BR builds went bad. ::) I was one of the lucky ones, my first BR lasted an hour. ;D

What's so different about it that it would die so easy? If put together correctly it should be fine, yes?

I'm sorry AMK but I have to back out of this GB too. :( I have no source of funding for these at the moment. Maybe the next GB.

Re: PHR-803T HD-DVD diodes GB# 3 PAY LULZ!!

See you don't even have to do anything wrong for it to burn out. I had the thing in a nice giant heatsink, with arctic silver to help it connect, etc... it powered up and it glowed fine, not even full output. Then... and then... Bzzt! Gone. Okay, maybe I did something wrong, but I couldn't find out why.
