Yup. All told they get about a month of "national holiday" days off per year. This one right now is one of the longest. Sucks, because i've done a whooooole lot of waiting for CNI lasers.

Added up, I've probably spent more time in holding-patterns for CNI lasers than owning them :)

This is why places like Laserglow and Optotronics aren't that bad, even with prices considered :)

OK a package came today from CNI... it is lacking some of the lasers we are awaiting though...

I rec'd the 20 mW PGL III -C- 532nm and the 400 mW PGL III -C- 532nm
2X PGL III 473nm 20 mW
PGL III -C - 589nm 10 mW
PGL III -M - 589nm 10 mW
So, there are a few items we are still waiting for... -GH

Ok, cool; I guess that means my III-C-532-20, III-C-589-10 and III-C-473-20 are there?

I suppose that 400mW 532 would be mine then? If so, great! Just hope it's up to spec this time...

Any word on the last of the GB lasers? Still waiting for my 50mW 589, it seems.

I have to wonder if your PGL-III-C-532 is the "new style" of interlock that Glenn was talking about, in regards to my DOA PGL-III-C-532.

Seems like the DOA thing has been happening more from CNI lately :(

No, his is the traditional and I tested the output, it's one of the highest I've seen! :eek:

The 80 mW and the 50 mW PGL III -C 589nm were not in yet... Soon I hope...-GH

hmm...

Glenn, Ask CNI mabe if paying a bit to upgrade that PGL-III-532-20mW that's DOA, slightly, to like 50mW will make it "easier" to get the "normal" style...

Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be A) working, B) overspec, C)normal style, D) not take as long....

I don't want to complicate it though, I just feel really "meh" about having some weird-ass interlock on one of my PGLs...

...Man.. Wish I was doing my 532-400 now instead of before then! Any hint of what kind of power you were seeing? :)

What DJNY said -- on one of the "highest output" 532 PGL-III-C's youve "Ever seen" :) Just curious what his laser peaked at.

From a PM he sent me a couple days ago... I'm very pleased, even if I can only run it for something like 30 seconds at a time. :D

I think I did see a brief moment in the low 900mW area, but mostly 700 - 800 peaks in the brief tests... -GH

Glenn I'm guessing CNI didn't respond about my 532 before they went on party time?
