after months of spamming Nichia with requests to buy 10 488 nm diodes, they finally gave in. :D so the first 10 people who are willing to pay the grand total of ....................................... 1,500 dollars will receive engineering samples, shipped to their door.

No hard feelings but personally I would not trust you with my money.... let alone 1500$.

That's 1/3rd the typical Nichia price for 488nm diodes (typically 300,000 Japanese Yen).

So, how do you explain the "price drop"?
(The GB "bulk quantity" of 10, is not a valid answer)

Obviously, I call BS.

No one is going to pay 1,500$ for a diode anyways, let alone 10 people.

Hell if this was <$200 I would be in for at least one. I can't wait for the day that we will get our hands on affordable 488nm diodes.
