Out of pure curiosity - since I have never dealt with anodizing before ... ... ... What difference does it make if a BLACK, or other dark, solid color is used is polished or not ? Won't the anodizing cover up the "polish" attempt, and make it a $5.00 waste ? If it DOES make a difference - please explain it to me ? Thanks ! I LOVE the render job, BTW - damned nice work on that !
Oh - and Kenom....if a Joe Barry has purchased from you - I would STRONGLY suggest you refund his payment and exclude him from this GB. He is MUCH more trouble than is worth, trust me. With his combined posts under PICRTHIS, and ELECTRON - he is a gnat best left in the wind. Oh crud....did I just type that in the THREAD instead of a PM ? How utterly careless of me. My bad.

No Barry's in my orders as of yet. To be honest when it comes to the darker colors especially black it will not make any difference to polish it prior to anodizing. I know if you were to go with like purple or blue however it would change the color that is being anodized to be more of a polished look to it instead of a matt look. I think that's probably the ONLY difference that the polishing is going to make prior to anodizing with the exception of clear. I think the best way of explaining what it would be would be the difference of painting something with fingernail polish or an acyrlic paint that was thicker. Hope that gets my idea across.
