IIRC that info is at JETL site...

but i think you will do NO harm if you start w/one aaa
then try one 10440 and meter
then try two aaa s and meter
if you still do not get spec(just spec NOT overspec) THEN try two 10440
which will kill it if you make a mistake.

IIRC i saw ~ 25 mW overspec--dont push for more--- Was this not written on the box?

btw a guy who got one directly from JETL killed his by using too many 10440s....so keep that in mind...
i will search jetl for you now

you got no ti 650
your freiend DID get one
PL-C 650 nm/300mW which uses ONE 18650 only.

the PL series 445 and 405 take two 16340 for full power and
one 18650 for lower power, DO NOt use two 16340s in any other PL laser

Sorry, closed. Hopefully there will be gb#7 though.

I hear from a certain Texan that there are some cool new lasers coming out soon:D

This pen because it takes 10440 battery, super Portable & I have lot of boring Headheld lasers and I need a bag to take them with me.

Edit: I don't think if I can wait, I'll take it from Jetlasers.org for 180$. Here on GB how it cost?

No idea... I don't think anyone got any pens in this GB.

I had to PM Gray to get a price for the TiB 532nm I got:p

Gray at JETL will need to be contacted on payment details

#6 is done.
#7 may not happen til Jan 2012 and like my others--- USA and Canada only.
Once you pay JETL DHL express will deliver FAST (but not cheap) cheap btw always has a chance of FAILURE... th extra$$ is well worth the added security it carries.

you can PM Gray thru lpf--JETLASERS -is user name IIRC

Considering the 150mW version was overspec to 225mW, I guess maybe my expectation were too high:undecided:

The knurling is what annoys me though... on a $300 laser I was expecting it to be perfect, especially after all the positive reviews about it:(

I finally got this baby to run down my power cell and recharged tonight. This Ti-B meters out at a nice 230mW:), very nice;)!! Thanks again Len and Gray for making this GB happen, you got a happy camper here guys:beer:!!
These AW cells take a while to run down man, I kept at it every few days for about 30 seconds duty time with the time I had available. I use AW in pretty much all my lasers and for my use they really last a while between charges:)!

That's awesome:D

I just bought myself a new camera yesterday, so hopefully once I can take some shots of the knurling issue, Gray will let me exchange mine.

I also bought three AW batteries specifically because of this laser... haven't come close to running down the battery I put in there fully charged... a looong while back.

Any idea if this is gunna happen?
Also is it possible to get in on the group buy from outside the US by ordering directly from JETL?

looking lik #7 amy ahppen in Feb.
It is for CONUS and Canada only. You need to go thru Gray at JETLSASERS to order GB lasers- and you need to tell him that Len sent you. I am putting up the OP for #7 now. Gray is JETLASERS on LPF.
Prices will be posted for the new PL-C Pro.
