I hate to keep putting everyone off like this, but the thing is - I do NOT want you guys to end up with CRAP for a laser, so I am being rather tough with the vendor. You can hate me later - but you wil love the end results - I can only say, "Sorry" for the amount of time this is taking 
Greg, you’re a man of your word, and that's increasingly harder to find with each passing day. And even harder to find with the average person selling Lasers these days to! 150mw eh, dang that’s quite a lot off from 200mw! I hope you get things cleared up soon for the people that purchased one. I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on that broken unit, I hope it’s one that only requires some simple tweaking to get glowing again.

I appreciate all the work you're doing. I don't mind waiting for a while. This is the first and very likely only high powered laser I'll be able to get. Since I wanted it to be powerful enough to do burning experiments, the higher power would be much preferable. As far as I'm concerned, a little waiting for group price you were able to get is worth it to me. Thank you again.

Okay - here is the scoop - since there were SO many underspec units (all but three actually) they are going to be headed off to China - I am paying the shipping this first time - I have been in communications with her all damned day it seems. But, and subsequent issues with these orders, and I will get even more pissed. All of you that have participated in this Group buy are known to her as my "Clients" and as such you are clammoring for your product ! LOL I know it is a pain in the ass - but they will be shipped off tomorrow, and we will see what happens next. According to her, they are "tuned" to 180mw...and she suspects my measuring equipment ! I told her - that if the same units are returned, and not "tuned" properly, that they are in for some issues... I am VERY sorry for the additional delays, it seems like this has been going on for MONTHS AND MONTHS now - and I feel horrible. At any rate, hopefully we will reach some closure soon and all of those that ordered the reds will be sitting pretty, and very, very happy indeed with their new red lasers.

Well, as scary as it sounds - there is still room left for more orders. I am hammering the vendor with requests for info, and orders so hopefully they will cut me some slack.

Hahaha! That is very funny! Somehow, I doubt that Senkat is going to want to deal with these people again for a while!
Given the price and the overall apparent performance of these units, they are still very much worth it. at 130mW they are still $1 per mW! That is an amazing deal on red lasers.

I guess the obvious does need to be asked, Are you certain your hand built hobbiest meter with add on ND filter is not the issue? Could the ND filter be faulty after so many uses?
Have you checked your results with a commercial unit such as a Coherent LaserCheck?
You stated in an earlier post they don't have the means to check the Lasers before they get shipped out, when in reality they certainly do. Your dealing directly with the manufacture of the units and they have commercial gear to set them up with, they are tuned between 150mw-180mw depending on the yield of the diode itself. If the factory sets the Laser to full max out regardless, then the Laser will hit 200mw+ and will only last about a month, in fact they will only give you a 30 day warranty IF you insist they crank the diode up to max power.
In that case all they are going to do is to turn the pot to max. Would be no difference if you bought a car with a 225hp engine and pushed the pedal to the metal, how long do you think the engine would last?
I would suspect that is the same reason why Glowtorch's died so quickly, they had the factory set the pot to the max, thus also why he only gave a 30 day warranty. Glowtorch didn't change the pot themselves, otherwise the seal would have been broken. So YES you can DEMAND the factory set them @ 200+mw and the life of the diode will be greatly reduced. The factory WILL do this at your request/risk, risk being the warranty drops from 6 months to 30 days. There has been so much Drama and inconsistent stories in this Group Buy, unbelievable.

My LPM-1 is dead on accurate. The warranty is one year. YOU requested that your two units not be opened, so you will get what you get, and that is that. The vendor TOLD me previously that they did not check the lasers before shipment, and they are only the distributor, Picrthis - not the manufacturer. where are the inconsistencies ? I have been nothing but open and honest through the entire ordeal, that everyone has gone through - and only you have taken any issues with it, or me to be more to the point. Have no worries - your lasers are on their way to you, and do not bother asking to be included in any further Group Buys that I host, as YOU are the cause of the drama, not the buy itself. Have a great day sir - next time, keep nastiness to yourself, or bring it to me - what reason do you have to attempt to belittle me on the forum ? Whatever your motive, it is truly your own.
