Wow... these things are really beat to hell!

I'm sure they'd do a better job on the next batch. :)

Wow... you would think that they would package them just a little better than that...

Yeah, the packaging is the worst I have seen, and I have seen some bad packaging. Thanks for the pics Greg. It really is worse than I had imagined.

Dooooooooooooooooooooods ! ;D ;D ;D

WOW !!! I JUST received another email - they are expediting the replacement of the broken lasers that were busted in shipment ! Should not be too much longer now - again, more updates to follow as they are received.

Thank you all for your patience - I know it SUCKS ! I am confirming whether they are replacing the entire shipment or not, and will be able to tack on extra orders with no issues. Anyone who missed out on it hte first time around is welcome to get in this time - you MUST act fast though - I fully expect to wire the additional funds today (Thursday) or tomorrow, but Monday at the latest, I am sure. Let me know !

I AM HAPPY NOW ! {And relieved !} Thank goodness - I thank all of you for your support, and cannot say too much how sorry I am that this occurred. If I had LOADS of cash sitting arround, I would have ordered plenty as stand-bys in case of any issue ! :) But - not that much disposable income here ! ::) Thanks again for your patience.

Awesome news! Have you tested the ones that were not broken in half to make sure that they still function?

Thanks Greg for the pics, the video speaks volumes. The box looks really bad, it looks like when DHL stuffed it into their truck the box flexed and crushed some. If the box flexed and it appears that was probably the case, you can see why the Lasers would be damaged. Still I think most of the responsibility rest with the Vendor for not using a much heavier gauge box and also not putting the proper amount of packing into the box itself. Looks like they took a box and throw them all in it and sealed it up. If you ever seen a shipper pack their truck, they stuff every inch on the truck tightly, so if a thin walled box is used, it is going to flex and that will cause damage for sure. The Vendor should know better. Let us know how it is going with the vendor towards a solution, which ought to be replacement.

Cool Greg, just seen your message they are expediting a shipment to you; that's good news, hopefully they'll pack it better. Thanks for taking care of this for us.

Okay - here is the dealio ! They are replacing the ENTIRE shipment ! I stressed to them that I did not feel comfortable shipping out the unbroken lasers when the others suffered so much damage - so they opted for a total replacement. I have already asked if I could keep any of hte broken ones for use as parts replacements - just in case, and I am waiting to hear back from them. Now - they are shipping on Tuesday - so the means anyone else who wants in, I can get the finds wired to them Monday AM, and get the order in prior to them shipping - they are holding onto an additional 10 just in case I have that many folks that still want in - so paypal FAST, by this weekend, and you can get in on the fun !

Well I wanted to say the least they can do is to replace the entire shipment. Glad to know this. Hopefully they will not want to mess with the broken ones. Spare parts are always a good thing to have laying around.

Given that they are replacing the whole shipment, I doubt if they would agree to keep the broken ones. They just might ask Senkat to send the whole thing back... :-? I could be wrong... :-/

Yea but since they are replacing the whole order, don't you think they would want their original product back? After all why would they let you keep 50% of the order that is broken and then return the ones that aren't broken? I doubt since they are replacing the whole order they would allow the whole original order to be kept gratis. The most valuable parts of the lasers are the diodes & the lenses, those would be extremely easy for the factory to recover; and I would expect they would most certainly want them back. In any case the original order has a manufacture date of Jun 07 on them and the replacements will have a date on them of Jul 07, so I doubt there should be any mix-ups.

That would be nice if he didn't have to send the broken ones back, but he will probably have to :-/
