Replied to Crina's invoice email and asked for email confirmation of paypal funds.

Oh . Ill be reporting as soon as possible on the casa and chauvet 40 DMX combo. Not like we haven't seen it with brucemir, but I believe his recent pics were taken with the chauvet 70 which is overkill for the casa. The 40 is even overkill for its 9 channels, but it's definitely the a great controller. Works wonders with my 3d

Not going to lie, was confused on the first part cuz I forgot we were talking about the TMart scandal in this thread.......:crackup: thats what happens when we talk across 6 different threads at the same time Tony. Yeah, I didnt care about the piece of crap either but they sent it to me and its never going to be used.

On to the Casa, I would love to see how you can get the projector to work with the DMX. I dont want to buy a DMX at the moment due to I've spent WAYYYYYYYY to much in the past four months (~$3-4k

) but yes I will get one eventually. Would love to see how different controllers work.

Yeah I'm curios to what different controller are like too. I only have messed with this one because of Bruce. I'm sure there are other good ones, but I gotta trust success.

And yeah, if been wondering if anyone has noticed that you and i are having about ten different convos at the same time on different threads haha.

Even the mood is different. A little more of a shocked mindset on the laserbtb thread huh? I should have made a thread.

I've got my finger on the trigger on a ebay chauvet 40. If Tmack gives the CTL-HM, the LK-3D, and the chauvet the thumbs up, I'll pull it.
Just curious what DMX does on the LK-3D opposed to the IR remote that came with it.

DMX = WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY more control over a cheap few button remote. Its like comparing a standard cheapy TV remote to a smart TV remote that controls your TV, internet, xbox, surround sound, DVD player, Bluray player, kitchen sink, toilet, etc......

It makes the patterns totally customizable. You have a selection of many more designs as well. They may not be whats in the manual, but there are a lot. You can change every aspect of the design. You can rotate, zoom in out, take away portions, add portions, it's basically endless. I will tell you all the crazy designs like the pictures of faces, and elaborate things don't exist. I've scrolled through absolutely every image and they are not there. However the patterns they do give you are like having more of the stock ones. They are geometric patterns instead of say a pumpkin or a Santa lol. I'd rather have the geometric patterns.

I agree, although I think Bruce said that most of those "hidden" patterns are in the sound mode selection. Iirc the sound has more patterns than auto, also the sound on these units are way better than the LK units (except Tony's, Tony got the only LK with a good sound pickup). The DMX is awesome and everyone should get one at some point. Its whenever you are comfortable to try it but even if you "fail" at it, you will be awesome since its controlling the patterns until you learn what slider does what to the image.

Turns out buying hakzaw s personal 3d was a good move when it comes to the sound sensitivity.

And I've run thought every pattern possible on the chart. They go by numbers on the first and second slider. When you do this every pattern that exist on the pj will pop up. It has the right amount of different patterns, but some are out of order, and some don't exist, they are replaced with the geometric patterns. The only thing that matches the " pictures" is the $ lol. The rest are different variations on the star, star with a crosshatch background, star with circle back round etc. oh and no pictures of miners either. They have been replaces with patterns too. I'm positive I'm scrolling through every pattern available. I know this is the case because the number of separate patterns are the me as the manual, but the pictures in that manual are different only when you start getting into the end of the list where the pictures are supposed to get more elaborate. Hope that makes sense.

I am lucky and my GF went home for two weeks. PLUS I have a LARGE, I mean LARGE battery order coming from FT ($100 of cells

), this projector, 20 Sanyo 18650s (separate from the FT order. I have bought $200 in cells in the last 30 days), A TON custom machined parts (which I will sell here so you all can save some money on heatsinks, focus adapters, etc over SL's IMO high prices......) *shhhhh* you guys heard it first so if you need a copper or aluminum C6 heat sink let me know (I am also sending off a bunch for custom "LL Limited Edition Anodizing" those will be sick!), a custom built flashlight and a few packages I have forgotten about. Its like x-mas in January

Lol I constantly forget about stuff I order. The tracking numbers go on for days . I had to make a two page list and cross them off as they came.
