Hi Glenn,

got my package today. Well... sort of...

What I got was

1. the harvested diodes in their heatsinks, as specified; and
2. two sleds.

Comparison with my existing sleds showed them both to be GGW-H20L sleds. And one still had a diode in it...

An hour later after a lot of searching, googling, heartpounding and swearing (why isn't critical, central information like sled pictures, diode locations & identification, pinouts and typical operating settings a STICKY??) I managed to identify it as the IR diode (from info in this huge thread) which is of no interest. Well, at least no question of sending anything back (I guess).

So, I'm still waiting for 4 PHR and LPC sleds (without the PHR and LPC diodes) and 2 Aixiz modules. Did you send two packages?

PS. What's that optical thingy on top of the 6x? I think I saw it mentioned briefly somewhere, but no luck searching for it...

Hi Glenn,

I received my GGW yesterday. I build quickly a blue laser pointer and compared with one of my old PHR (97mW). The new GGW blue pointer is burning like a bitch. The difference is enormous! Indeed, GGW diodes are top! It worth all money!

Bad luck. I got mine without any customs hiccups, fortunately. While there was some confusion (see post above), it's all been sorted out to full satisfaction in the meantime.

Everything arrived good couple of problems though.

You used no bubble wrap only thing protecting it was the 1 layer of bubble wrap on the package.
The diode had scratches on the metal, I don't know.

Does anybody want me to order another round of GB sleds?

Just say the word Eku if you want to send it back and get a refund. It was not molested, but just as it was rec'd. Best Wishes! -Glenn
