accidently deleted my post lol
so the company wont let you order as you need them. like add up how ever many have been bought a certain week/month and get them to make em for you. or do you have to have minumum of 60.

also pretty sure this is custom design so you should get a patent

xtremeoid - I am pretty sure that patents are for unique ideas, not for a new design of an existing idea ? I could be way off, of course....law has never been a favored subject of mine...I would tend to think that maybe a copyright would be in order if it were successful ? but a patent ? I think I shall google patents to find out now...thanks :p hehehehe

As to having the manufacturing company turn me however I need, it's not financially possible for me to do that. Since the shop time is $80/hr plus materials one barrel would cost me easily $160 or more. This being said taking into account the shop time and the way a cnc mill, lathe works, the more they do the faster they can do it. so respectively cost goes down. Now yes I probably could have them run them at the end of say the month or whatnot but as it sits now there is enough interest to turn them monthly or even once every 2 months but certainly not weekly.

And patents are dead usually when the idea is brought to public forms of communication. And this is not too patentable to begin with.

It is however super cool though!
I am looking forward to it kenom, I have a 20x open can waiting lol.

Hey is it too late to up my order to three? I've noticed that I really won't be able to do anything useful with these lasers until I have a nice holder for them.
