The email also says I should receive it in 3-7 days. That would be amazingly fast for shipping from one of these sites.

I would be super surprised if that happens. I wouldn't expect it until late next week. (based on past experience with shipping from China)

Edit: I did make the purchase about two hours after receiving the e-mail, so I may had been "first in, first out"

I think it is nice that they are attempting some form of follow up customer service. Its not particularly useful but they are trying to keep us in the loop. I am sure wicked lasers wouldnt send you a picture even if you ask.

Mine just arrived in the mail :na:

Was 7 days on the dot travel time.

First impressions: Love the host. You pick it up, and you'd just as much want to use it as a club as a laser:)

Packaging was very good, box was in great shape, and the declaration value was 75$.

Love the double safety features, the shutter, and the keys.

Charging my 18650 now, and will post back with details. Everything seems to be very good for now :)

Edit: There is something "jiggling" at the top of the laser if you shake it. It looks like its the shutter, just a tiny nitpick. I guess I can't use it as a club now. :)

Don't have an LPM so... will have to be a subjective post!

Cheers!

Exciting!

I'm not sure if I really adequately described the "substantiality" aspect of this laser in my review. But it's definitely not some thin aluminum host. This is a very solid bodied laser.

Have the powered it up? Even with a not-fully-charged 18650 ?

Can't wait to get mine... eventually:eek:

Thanks for the picture updates.

@bobo99 - Nice knife. I like my own crkt a lot for camping although I can't stand the newer lock mechanisms with a spring.

Alright here are some beam shots and dot shots :)

Unfortunately I don't have ANY LPM'd lasers, only their "reported power".

One is the recent group buy waterproof 100mW green, and the other is an overspec green pen from swimsurfer.

The beam is clearly visible even in a lightly lit room :D.
I'd say at least three times brighter than the 100mW green, whose beam I can't see at all, unless its a dark room.

Divergence is "poor", however I like the fat beam, it gives it more of a statement.

As I said, purely subjective, but there you have it!

(this was all done with a 18650 charged for <30 min)

(the order of dots are from left>right, 300 mW firedragon, 100mW green, unknown overspec green)

Thanks for the knife too! Very compact, definitely one of my favorites. The locking mechanism is a pain. Its got the little red knob, and the inside spring metal. I give it to my guests sometimes, and it usually takes >30 seconds to figure out how to close it - haha

Looks fairly similar to my JetLasers pl-C. Tough to tell for sure.
Thanks for the shots.
