I am starting this thread to see if we can get 20 Viasho lasers on one discounted Viasho GB, BTW, I use two other forums as well, so I hope with a month or two, we can get the numbers. If you are not familiar with these, they look like an RPL, but they have no delay, and no dongle. They do have a constant on switch and beam "On" LED as well as an aperture shutter and tail safety key, (key can be removed while in use ("On" or standby). Following is the Viasho line up with list costs:

Blue lasers:
5 mW $500 w/ GB = $450
10 mW $650 w/ GB = $585
20 mW $900 w/ GB = $810
Green 400 mW $1000 Note: save $100 on this one GB = $900 !

The Deal: With the order for 20 units, (any of the above units), that I gather the funds and pay for at once, we save 10%, I will want ~$15 to $20 ea. to cover shipping (ConUS), and they do come from China. Mine seems very well made and quite high powered as well as very good beam quality, but I don't know if they are always well above specs, as I have only seen the one I am glad to own. My blue Viasho will warm up for about 2 min. then it's output is better than 10 mW and can run for many minutes. I do love my Aquarius -10, but now, I have cw with the Viasho, (Aquarius is pulsed 700 Hz).
Thanks for serious GB participation!

I wonder if pseudonomen137's regular prices are any better than these.

Re: GB Feeler for Viasho Lasers!

Thanks for the post Razako, I will check into it.

We will probably need 'till about June to get 20 units, but, if we get there sooner, some folks prob's would want to go ahead, so idk exactly.

Re: GB Feeler for Viasho Lasers!

Are these with the 2.0 or 2.5Wnlight diodes? Sorry to be a pain in the butt, but my prices on the blues are about the same if not lower, and I already have them on hand, in stock, ready to ship out.

As for the green, that I can't offer so easily ;). Got any details on that, IE duty cycle? Thanks

Discount isn't quite good enough for it to be worth it.

Re: GB Feeler for Viasho Lasers!

Hey Guys I now have a Kenom Thermal Laser Power Meter, and was very happily surprised to find my Viasho -5 is a total freak unit! After 3 min. warm up, the AVG is 26 mW and peak is 29 mW
I am sure this is not to be expected from the general Viasho 473 nm blue 5 mW units! :D

Glenn - I'm interested in a 10mW blue.

Psuedo - If you read this, I'd like your price estimate of an oceanus-10, or whatever you call them these days. ;)

So far with listing this on three forums, we are seeing little interest. I don't want to give up, but 20 Viasho lasers is going to be tough to acchieve it would seem.

Re: GB Feeler for Viasho Lasers!

Viasho has >100 mW labby lasers 473 nm for about $1300.

I other news: I just noticed that DX offers (apparently a Viasho) 500 mW for $1,250, but they offered it to us in a GB for $1,000

I am sure it's the same as the 400 mW unit, just over rated, or the 400 mW is rarely >500, which ever. The warranty is better direct from Viasho, 6 mo.
