Hi, I am just wanting to see if there is any interest in open can sleds from 18X burners and 20X burners just pushed a little higher.

These diodes can easily do 250mw no problem.

Price: 18$ plus 3.50$ shipping and 0.50$ for each additional sled

this is up to 100 sleds.

you should get some of the LG GSA-H42N, they are a lot easier to harvest!

all you need is a small Flathead screwdriver and you just pop them out.

ah alright, was just a suggestion. i don't know a supplier at the moment. and you're correct, these are very easy to get out by just snipping the edges of the heat sink, then usually you can just pull out the diode.

and hey, you could also mention these 18x diodes are the same diodes used in the 20x burners, just pushed a little higher current to make them 20x. at least that was my understanding of what 18x diodes are, i may be wrong tho.

good luck,
Kendall

These ARE LG GSA-H42N's by the looks of it. They look exactly the same as the LG with this p/n I harvested.

yeah these are the 20x laser diodes that I just got in. Same exact square heat sink around the diode. very nice lasers. I'll probably be buying more.

Price looks good, I'm in. Don't need one now but I'm sure that by the time this gets round I'll have broken a laser or simply be wanting :)
