Does the head of the host come off, so you can install your stuff from the front? also, I once tried to align a button and an empty driver in a CNI pen host but failed. Is it that hard or I was missing something? It would be much appreciated if someone could do a tutorial on how to install the module, driver and the rest of the components

Hey, Silvershot all the parts are not together what you see in the pictures is how you get it.

Also this is a Group Buy For Empty NewWish Pens. There is no Module/ Drivers etc in this Group buy.

Or are you talking about supplying your own stuff and iam just reading you message wrong.


Its not hard to put one of these together. SO you will have no Problems.

How did you fail with your CNI Laser.
I hope it still worked.

Edit Here you go: Just skip all the beginning part as these are empty host and you dont have to take one apart.

Depending on what Green module you use you just have to make sure when pushing the module in that the switch on the board does not get caught on the Metal push button. Using a Piece of tap over the button from the inside will help when pushing in the Module that the switch does not get caught on the Host button. Since there is no black spacer you will need to use a piece of foam to support the driver underneath so it does wiggle around when pressing the button to turn on the laser.


FYI Guys I can get the Foam piece that go around the spring of the module for a whole $00.10 cents more.

I will not be change the price on you guys so it will be me on me if there is interest for them. Let me know.?

lazeerer, I was planning to build a 445 in one of these hosts using a spare flexdrive. I was aware that these are bare empty pen hosts but forgot that the head can be taken off :shhh:
I was asking for a tutorial on how to install an aixiz module and not a premade green module. Sorry for any misunderstanding :yabbem:

You could use thermal adhesive to glue the module into the host, such as Arctic Silver, Inc. - Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive

I see. I have never built a laser in one of these before. I will do my best to show how to build one using an Aixiz Module.

Good idea but what if the diode or driver died? o__O
@ lazeerer. I'm pretty sure a great percentage of these hosts will use aixiz modules, if not ready green modules.

About the Foam Pcs. You will get the Exact same amount of foam pieces as Host ordered.

So if you order 10x Empty Host, You will get 10x Foam Pcs.

I might have said in a few PMs that there will be 10 foam pcs add but you only got 2 hosts. this was a Mistake. You will get the same amount of foam pcs as the host you got.
