i personaly am getting a digital bench PS, fryes has a nice 30v/3A one for 129.00

i should be able to power even some higher power 808's with that

Arenared;

Be careful with the power supply.

The only Diodes I've damaged, were due to turn-on or turn-off transients on a similar supply.

I now do all my testing by ramping current up and then ramping down, before turning off.

Have not damaged any diodes with that procedure.
