i have heard it a lot.
It's a simple fix. When i get home i'll shoot a quick video for it and post it in the help/repair section of the foum.

i didn't get the video tonight.

If you open your tailcap you'll notice a threaded retainer ring on the inside, if you unscrew it you'll see it's an entire pill that hold that cliky switch and spring.

Once the pill is out, on the reverse side (the side with the cliky button) you'll notice yet another threaded ring. This plastic threaded ring is sometimes loose. It's suppose the keep the pcb of the switch locked down against the pill but the force of the batteries and spring can push the pcb back away from the pill casing you to lose contact. If you tighten down this black plastic retainer ring it will usually fix your problem. It's not a switch problem but more of a contact problem between the switch and the metal pill

If that doesn't work you can also take that PCB that the spring is on and add a solder blob to the outter ring to help it make contact with the pill better.

I think i'll just go ahead and do this to all the hosts i get to avoid it happening to others.
