DHL does the same thing, just not with Memphis, UPS is the best, it goes from
China to Canada...

Memphis are the people always charging me tax also :( not only do they delay but they have a delay fee :(

Why? What does the U.S. have to do with it at all? Or are they collecting tax for Canada?

I have no idea...

It passes anchorage Alaska aswell but it never got held up there, it should have been here tomorrow, now I called & they said thursday.

Oh the joys of paying FedEx to hold my package in Memphis.
I swear even when it leaves Memphis it goes through Canadian customs in not even a minute! Tracking says "customs clearance Mirabel Qc " then " Processed through mirabel Qc" then 6 hours later it's at my door. I don't know why Memphis is so slow, I wonder what they do to take so long and be so exensive .

Whatever I'm using UPS from now on. They never gave me any problems, they were never late on a shipment either.

Only thing is, UPS costs even more :/ when shipping from china

Alaska is where mine got held up! I ordered a hundred bucks worth of flashlight hosts, no lasers! Fed Ex held it up, hassled me for forms, and charged me $6.50 to collect $13.50 duty. I took my SWEET TIME paying that bill.

Not to mention, I WOULD have paid it a lot sooner, but their ftn trade network appeared to have no way to pay online and the ONLY way to contact them was mail or phone. It was as if they hadn't heard of the Internet yet.

Hold on, I'm gonna paste my email trail...

Company: Malevolent Laser Works Inc.

I have been trying to pay invoice number 1-234-567890 for several weeks. Fed Ex seems to be made up of several Fed Exes and they don't seem to know anything about each other.

The "Fed Ex" that sent me that bill has completely ripped me off with a ridiculous fee to collect a few dollars of duty, but I am willing to pay it for them to quit bothering me.

HOWEVER, it seems to be impossible to pay it online. HOW can I pay this invoice online? Can someone point me to a place to pay that invoice? Thank you.

Yes, they are really fckd up, the staff I spoke to for the last GB, out of about 15 only 1 was polite, the others are all like, well just wait and hopefully it will get to you soon or you shouldve taken the super scam express way for an extra 300$ or something like that, there was ONE person who left a note saying to please make sure the shipment moves.

I swear it's the last time, the FedEx people in my area aren't the best either, they will park ACROSS THE STREET then LAUNCH the package to my door, I swear if they broke the glass on it I'd go running after them with a hockey stick :eg:

The Canada post guy is really kind though, once I got tax & he said I dont have to pay it :D but man the FedEx people piss me off.
FedEx is the most expensive & slowest "express" courier.

Oh well, that's why I NEVER ship with FedEx ;)

I always use UPS for that reason. They are reasonable and don't charge you for ridiculous crap. And they know what the internet is!

USPS Priority is pretty good too.

I can ship via Canada post priority aswell, which is overnight :) and only for 60$ as oppose to fedex's 200$

Sorry for the multiple posts but these are updates & I need people to get the updates even from email ;)

fedEx said IF all goes well it will be here tomorrow BUT they have said that before and didn't happen, just hopefully it does happen

EDIT: I've notified the manufacturer to ship all my shipments via UPS from now on, I'm Fed up & I told the FedEx people I won't use them again last time I spoke to them ( with the modules GB ) and I'm serious now, and worst of all for the FedEx people its always because of ONE location, MEMPHIS.

Oh well, I can only hope it gets here tomorrow if not I'll keep calling them...

Luckily I have today off from work and most importantly LUCKY it left Memphis :D
I actually had 2 packages leave Memphis the same day, a digikey order & this :D for some reason the digikey stayed in Memphis for like 10 minutes

Anyway I'm going to start printing shipping labels now, NOW some did not leave the username in the PayPal notes, for those that did not I will PM you asking for your shipping adress :) as soon as you reply it will be shipped. I will give everyone who took tracked options their tracking number today but I will be busy, ( it takes a while to pack 27 packages :p )

Thanks for all your patience :D

Thanks for everything you've done for this GB. I've heard it can be quite the low and painful process but you've made it go quick and easy.

Thanks :)

This one went pretty smoothly apart from the Memphis ordeal ( which has happened every time for me )

Anyway I'm just now getting my computer on so I can start printing labels :D

Take it easy, one more day waiting doesn't matter.
Better to do thing right than correcting it afterwards.
