Ive read it plenty. He is having problems. Should rectify them ASAP and get the GB back on track. If i was running a GB like this(with so many interested parties) i will call in for some extra help or would have assigned X amount of time to do nothing but get the GB out of the way. Its all about how you manage your time and if you know something else is more important(in his case school) then he shouldn't have started such a large GB.Maybe start off with a smaller GB and based on the outcome of that then take on the 200 - 300 boards he has to build. If i had the skill to be able to solder these parts id offer my help to bluefusion at no extra charge but i don't, so i cant really help out.

Give a couple of days (holidays now, no more school for 2 weeks) and you'll have pictures and whatnot before they get sent off.
Busy is all. I don't think there will be a round 2 of the FDs, too much work.

So, what of those who requested loose components to save you some effort and to get them faster?
Have you shipped those out already, or are you soldering more finished boards before you mail those?

...I don't blame people for being pissed off and impatient as its been 2 months going on 3 since he has had our money and we have nothing to show for it.

Some people have been waiting a lot longer, this GB was started last November (5 months ago)... but it's only been since Feb 25th (2 months) that Blue's had the parts... (which I mean, still, is an unacceptably long delay without at least keeping us updated)

Bumping to find out when the unassembled drivers will be shipped.

...it seems we have differing ideas of what ASAP means, as it's been almost a month since you said you'd send those out "ASAP"

Blue - Can you please let me know if you have sent out my unbuilt boards yet?
If not then please tell me WHEN and more to the point IF you are likely to ship them out to me?

If there is no chance at all of me getting them at all then please forward me a FULL refund, INCLUDING the extra's I ordered a few days later on from the original order - And NOT a Paypal payment for the amount either as I have heard you have done to others - A FULL Paypal refund.

Bearing in mind further back in the thread I was classed as TOP PRIORITY having paid for expediated delivery!

I am willing to wait a little longer but no more than a couple of weeks.

Thanks
Jim

BlueFusion: honestly, it doesnt take that long to solder 380 drivers. It can be done in 2 weeks TOPS!!. Especially solder pan reflow or by hand soldering, it doesnt take that long. I would like for you to send me my 4 unassembled kits. Also Kenom hasn't gotten his. Its been almost 3 months, it doesnt take that long to make 100.

I am PERFECTLY willing to take unassembled boards. I can solder surface mount in my sleep -and if I had the time I'd offer to help, but I don't have the time.
