Sorry guys I've been working my ass off just trying to get kenom's done. My low melting point solder doesn't melt so low after all, either that or my frypan thermostat is screwed, so i have little option but to do them by hand, which proves very difficult yet possible.
They are getting there is all, around 75 - 80 complete now so nearly done with Kenoms 100.

I would be MORE than happy of you just sent me a pile of 'correct' bits Blue so that I could put mine all together myself. I am loosing interest in building my pointers with waiting for them for so long.

Please don't forget I did pay extra for expediated delivery and would really appreciate mine 'done' or simply delivered in the first set.

Thanks

Thanks for the update!

I kinda figured frying pan reflow would be hard, which is why I hadn't tried it myself yet...

I dunno if it would create a headache for shipping, but I as well would prefer loose components. especially if it got here faster.
Either way, I do not envy you, and I'm sorry the pan didn't work out... it sounds like a whole lot of very fiddly work assembling these by hand. I wish you the best of luck, perhaps someone will loan you a hot air station.

I would be completely happy receiving un-assembled drivers as well. This would speed up the time it takes us to get it WHILE reducing your work load.

Hey guys. May I ask for everyone who is happy for unassembled to drop me a line via email at cgeeky@gmail.com and I'll set aside your components for that purpose and get them shipped asap.
Thanks for cutting me some slack dudes.
And toked, yeah i'm thinking about other methods but first i need a decent IR thermometer.
