Feeler on Massdrop

hey guys.

long time lurker, here, been creeping the laser community and looking to get into it as a hobby. as im sure most of you have found it, it gets real expensive if you wanna do anything serious.

i'm really big into MTG (magic the gathering) and found out about this site through Reddit. basically what they do it put everyones order together so everyone can buy in bulk and save in "group buys". since they handle all the shipping they can get really good prices.

i created a poll for some stuff, please vote and hopefully we can get a group buy running in the next few weeks!

not to put a damper on your plans but a 30mW 473nm laser from dragonlasers cost $399.99 without a GB. i doubt the GB will be even close on the 473nm if its $519 pre-discount.

plus being a new member, not many, if anyone, is going to want to put their trust in you to handle both their products and a boat load of money. dont mean to be rude or anything but just pointing out what i see wrong with this. you could possibly get a trusted LPF member to hold this GB for you and then it may go over better but without knowing the laser manufacture i doubt this will happen. the product description links to laserbtb but are they really laserbtb lasers? if you want this GB to ever remotely have a chance at happening you are going to NEED to give us more information and get a trusted member to support/lead this GB

Uh, call me skeptical, but I'm not signing up for some stupid poll site (what is the point of a feeler then?) for some 2-post member who wants a group-buy on $400 lasers. Anyway, for that price, I'd rather just buy a Lasever module and put it in my own host.
