Hi Everyone out there :)

Just got a a quote on some laser hosts. Their just the barrels with button to turn it on/off.
Just have to have a look first how many of you would how many of those tubes.
When quantity is sorted out i can give you an estimated price for each unit.

This barrel will be available in CHROME, SILVER (attachment), BLACK.

PRICE: Around 10$

So don't worry about the price right now just tell me if your interested and how many you would order.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE POST "YES" + HOW MANY YOU WOULD ORDER

Size? AAA batteries? Interior diameter (to make sure Aixiz housing will fit)?

Price? Yeah, you say don't worry about price, but that will majorly affect how many people will be interested and how many they would buy. People will buy a lot more if they're $10 than they will if they're $20.

Also, is there any other way you can show you're trust-able? No offense, I'm sure you're a very nice person, but you have few posts and no rep points. You've been a member for a long time, but is there anything else you can say or do to instill trust in buyers?

2 AAA will do the job just like the the leadlights.
143mm(L) x 13.5mm(Diameter)

It will be most likely less than 10$, thats for sure, just have to check on the shipping costs (international)

You got a point there :) ... but doesn't everyone have to have a "first time" to proof that he's trustable.
I mean i am an average guy with no business set up or anything. I live in Germany in a nice little house with my girlfriend and my son.
My hobbies are lasers, clubbing and stuff like someone like me would do. I am in HR jobwise and i do not have any criminal records so far ;)

I just want to bring in my part of helping us guys living our hobby as cheap as we can get it :)

The last time I tried taking apart one of those lasers (with a green laser inside) I mangled the barrel in the process, so they better be blanks, because you can't get the damn module out.

I would be very reluctant to call that host a "leadlight look alike."  It is a "pen-style" host, but that is about where the similarity ends.

Hi again.

@Daguin:
I attached a picture (found it on DX but it's the same host) where you can see the same host in chrome. I think apart from the button that looks alot like a leadlight, i mean if thats the only difference between a leadlight host and a pen style in this case :)

@Bionic-Badger:
These are BLANKS :) i've read that you had trouble getting the modules out so i kind of got inspired by your experience :)

@everyone elese:

If you are interested please Post a big YES and the minimum quantity you are willing to order.

I need to get an estimated number to cut down the price from my supplier.
I might have to go for the "usual" scales:

0-50
51-100
101-150
151-200

could you explain why??? :-/

i have exactly same host like in the previous post from DX and as Kingdingeling said i cant see any other difference like button..

i have my diy BR in this host and it was easy to build..

i have never had a real leadlight host so i cannot compare, but i really think it is same..

i saw one picture somewhere that there is some piece of plastic inside the leadlight host where the button is located..
is that the reason why you think that it is better to work with????

:-/

cheers

This doesn't seem to go off like i thought it would :(

Anyway. Please post your interest like explained above. I will wait the oncoming week for replies. If we can't even beat the 20 / 30 units mark then i will not proceed this.
No reason to negotiate with suppliers if there isn't even interest in those hosts.

No offense but thats my point of view.

Ok the samples the supplier sent me just arrived. Here are some pictures.

The Aixiz module is just for measuring purposes.

I know the button is missing thats what i still have to sort out with them. Anything else that should be included to plug and play the aixiz module?
