If possible remove the Magic Fire stamp on the Big Boy host. The name add nothing to this wonderful host.

I have build the earlier Big Boy host and there wasn't anything printed on the host.

Do you know the reflector size on this bad boy? i will need to fit my 3W 808 TO-3 inside the head.

For the first light, I'm not so sure. I'll have to ask Ric about it.

The big host however, I think others have a lot of knowledge about it.

I have no interest in that big boy host, i think it looks morbid. I am, however, interested in that host in the OP :)

i noticed you said you are going to use this as a light only, are you going to do any mods?

I don't think so since in the review here, everything seems perfect for me.

The XM-L is well driven at 3.0A, and the driver seems fine for me.

Maybe I'll replace it the LED with a SST-90 that I have lying around and the driver for a 7-9A one.

Heatsinking will definitely be something to think about. :whistle:

Do you have any plans on this?

I think it would be fun but I have never modded a flashlight before so I have absolutely no experience there. Would be able to help me out?
