Collecting money on brand new S1 lenses

Thanks, guys. I have the tracking information on the lenses and will update the progress of the order until it arrives in Israel.

It is now left Hong Kong. Will probably arrive this upcoming week to my Father's paintshop.

The supplier declared it as Glass lens with a value of $73 like I said before in order to avoid customs extra charges.

I will be back on the 30th. And will start shipping them out.

Paul will update you during my holiday. I will also be in a constant dialog with my father to check the package arrives saftley.

Hello everyone. THE LENSES HAVE ARRIVED IN ISRAEL!!! They got there earlier today and are now in Tel Aviv. From there they should be transferred to their destination at thejoker301 father's paint shop as soon as they pass customs. It shouldn't be much longer now. Lets hope they pass customs without a hitch and arrive safely very soon.

I was originally thinking that they had already arrived at their destination, but no, it is in Tel Aviv.

Not sure I want to do much when there is war going on in that part of the world.

-- Just another possible problem-- Loss of an 'order' is however nothing compared to the loss of life over there. Only one airline today has flights landing in Tel Aviv..
I fear for my two friends on vacay in Manila.. pray for Joker- and his family-and all the peoples over there.

Yes i Know what you mean, when i hear things on the news and radio today and yesterday about israel, i think of Eitan and hope he is Ok, I hope he makes the most of his holiday and time away from the "trouble"

I wish I had more news for you, but the lenses are still in Tel Aviv. I suspect they have yet to clear customs. Haven't heard much from Eitan in the last couple days, but that is probably because there is no news.

Waiting for shipping is always the longest part of a GB

I am often puzzled by those who find paying a little for items already in ther USA .
If we were getting these from a USA outfit like AixiZ no wait- no worries and no customs for USA buyers.

The Joker did one of the hardest parts-- finding THE source. not just a source-(we hope)--

I'm Leaving to travel to SELEM aug 8th- but not counting on them being here- so if we get lucky its all good. I could add some $$ and get quicker ship -

- need to look into that.

At no other USA function will you find as many pros in one place- and many build thier own projectors- Dave over there just did a GB on PBS cubes for blue lasers-
highest quality and they REALLY put these thru some heavy duty testing- like running 3 W thru it for 6 hours etc( 'baked it)- these lenses & Dave's cubes are perfect for dual and quad modules (we hope)

AixiZ got a bad batch of lenes--

JETLASERS got a bad batch of IR filters- so we cannot say every time that they will be the same.- nobody can..

BTW if you are getting these lenses to use in a projector AixiZ just sent me everything except the prices on for new scanner sets- 20- 30 & 40 K-

just in time for SELEM.

they want to carry almost every part neeeded to build PJs including those white laser modules-(Techhood)

Solid warranties- great customer support (except sometimes when its ME) & quick delivery.

I will post the pics and for sure someone here will be able to say who made them or who makes ones that look very much like these- AixiZ picked these out in person in China ~three weeks ago- I know they went to many places there 'shopping' for optics and scanners- Mrs 'AixiZ' Xia is from China- & she is a full partner and very laser savvy.
These may not be listed at AixiZ for some time-at least a week or two-


I cant imagine any customs issue with our small package and only a few lenses.

I have seen unopened UPS boxes from China with 5000 pcs inside -all five parts of the aixiz blank module- 25,000 pcs -

so , yeah our order not likely to draw any attention

and 73$ is prolly more than the cheapest 500 pcs plastic lenses would cost-

Frankly, I question whether Aixiz would be anywhere near comparable on price. We paid, what, $3 per single element lens in this GB? They're still asking $10 for a 3-element.

No worries. I am just on a holiday now.

The company called my father. They will deliver it on Sunday as I understood.

I will update you when he got them on hand. And will send some pics.

I will be back on the 30th.

Okay... so what is the Aixiz price (approximate is fine) for single element M9x0.5 lenses?

Just an update, as I have seen that the package has cleared customs and has gone and now left the distribution hub in Tel Aviv. It should be very soon now.

HEY EVERYONE! THE LENSES HAVE ARRIVED!!! I heard from Eitan, and he will be back on the 30th and start sending them out on August 1st. So, since they are a day ahead of us the lenses will go out July 31st, by my time.

Good morning everyone. Eitan, thejoker301, is back at his home in Israel and told me that he will start sending lenses out immediately.:drool:

I uploaded a photograph of the lenses from my pictures and albums files, but can't get it to work. The manager states that the photo is too large and needs resizing. This is the first time I've tried to do this and could use some help to make it happen. Sorry for the delay.:yabbem:
