For me, it mode hops back and forty from TEM00 and 01. Although I live in a small dorm, so I don't notice unless it's under a grating. It's also multiline for half a minute on a cd start 
I have another question.
To get the 10PSC discount, do you have to order 10 or more lasers of the same kind or can you order different types that will add up to 10 or more lasers.
Here is an example:
If there are 6 orders for the PGL-III-C-473-50mW/Unit and there are 4 orders for the GLP-589-5mW/Unit.... will you still get the 10PSC discount or will you get the 1PSC discount?
I hope this makes sense.

That's how it worked last time with the 532nm. Or orders were basically split in half for 5 500mW and 5 800mW, and we got the 10pc discount.
that being said, if you want 5mW, it might be worth it to save a couple bucks and get the GLP (pen host). We'll see the difference in price.

You will need 10 or more lasers purchased of the same wavelength. So 4 589's and 6 473's wont cut it.

I might even look into getting a 30mW 594. I think that's the highest they offer, but for $$$. We'll see, I just love the yellow-orange color.

Either a 589nm or a 473 in the 50+mW range .
473 preferably , but can go for a 589 too if it makes life easier for everyone

Definitely still interested in a 589 and I might also be in for a 473 depending on how the chips fall. Does anyone know what the most powerful 473 in a pointer host is?
