I am going through the thread right now gathering a list of those interested and everything they are interested in. If anyone has anything else they are interested then let me know. I will be working on this for an hour or so.

Okay, this is the interest I have accumulated from reading all 13 pages here. This is for only wavelengths. I did not put down outputs because those will probably change over time based on price.

So, it looks like the only thing we will get the 10pcs discount on is 589. Which is great, however the issue is that the cost will most likely end up causing a number of those interested to back out.

What do yall think is a good end date for the Group Buy?

At this price range , I'm in for a 473nm instead and since there isn't enough people for the 473nm discount... I'm off the GB..
Sorry for the fuzz mate.

Hi WBS,
Thats great that it looks like there are enough takers for the 589nm (hopefully 50mw's). As far as a closing date, the sooner the better, but I think it should be one that you are comfortable with and gives you ample time to do your thing with no pressure, and that people have a chance to save up

Wannaburn, think you can get CNI to put a 473 in one of the smaller GLP hosts, like the ones the rigel uses? I'd rather stick some 10440's in than CR2's... and its not impossible to do that knowing they produce yellow lasers in that size...

I am assuming the 1 pc price and 10 pc price for the 589nm 50mw are inversed

I will confirm the prices on 589, I think they just got switched. I will also inquire regarding the GLP 473 possibilities. Blackwolf I had you but I guess I skipped over your name when writing it down.

I will not be participating. Putting my money into research instead of pointers.

Nothing all that interesting to the general populace. Just wanting to do my own work and experiments with external cavities.

Either to increase gains, increase lines, remove lines, etc. Mostly some hands on work with external cavities, and single brewster laser tubes.

Also getting a spectrometer and modifying to to <0.1nm resolution so I can run my multilines through some tests to find out what they are really lasing at.

You know, the normal boring science stuff :)

I never said there was a problem? I'm sorry...I do not follow.

I simply said I want to put my money into research, and conduct my own experiments, and do my own work. Rather than just buying lasers.
