No, my next project is the 100-120mW 589nm (which I recently decided to get as a C-series, rather than waiting for that P.O. to be available in the M-series size) and after that, the 300-350mW M-series is probably next in line. If only I could finally finish the BR project... but that's another matter :p

Why do you don´t buy yobresal´s 100mW 589nm? You have to to fish or cut bait now!

Honestly, as overspec as that unit is, they do produce 100mW's now and possibly even higher in the near-future. If I go ahead and spend all that money now, I wanna make sure I don't regret it... however if the price is right, it's a go. I'm just gonna keep watching that thread for a while, see if any offers come in, see where it's going...

cmak, do you have yet to get your first laser at all? -- It's cool if so, you've definitely been taking it in, here.

But, man, if you don't have anything at all yet -- at least spring for a focalprice greenie!

Seriously, if he doesn't, I'm going to at least send that boy a HeNe. Brother needs some 632.8 to start with. Get some photons out there. Build some character.

Not trying to embarrass you cmak! But going that long without coherent light, it just.. it just ain't natural!

lol thanks for the help/advice, guys, but I do currently have a well-overspec DL Viper 95 (CNI GLP) and a JR Micro Chrome 6X (that finally came yesterday for the THIRD time, after over three months of working on the project, and after over $400 spent, two 6X modules bought, stopped working a THIRD TIME). So that has been taking up my time since mid-January and I'm honestly considering just forgetting about it and selling it whole or for parts. It's just been a mystery what is going on with the laser... not Dave's fault though, as he thoroughly tested it this time for a week. I'm gonna post a thread about it soon to see what the problem could be this time.

I am going to ask CNI again about the PGL III-C- 532 nm at 800 mW, as i know some things are ava. and not on data sheet, (Like I have a 250 mW PGL III 532 nm (uses the 2X "C" batteries), and they list only to 200. So, it c/b the 800 is not ava. or maybe now it is??? -Glenn

Look at post #41 ;)

What roithner-laser told me is that CNI is able to produce the 532nm handhelds with more than 1W power but aren´t allowed to sell such high specs.
