Glenn, sorry, no I was just being weird with nomenclature. Meaning that the next one that will be 'announced' will be GB#9, right? GB#8 was sort of 'filling in people who didn't get in #7'?

Not that it matters. I really chose a bad way to comment on it. Sorry.

Ordering from Dealextreme has really taught me patience.
Their slow processing really helps me cope with the wait for this GB.

My new laser will be a nice surprise.

AMEN to that !!! I've got a PGL 473nm 50mW comin' in this GB, & I can't wait. I feel like a 6 year old, 3 days before CHRISTMAS !!!!! Thanks for doing this for all of us Glenn. You do a GREAT JOB runnin' these GB'S for the Forum. rob

Very exciting indeed.... I'm gettin a GLP 473nm 30mW unit and the anticipation is killing me! Hey 2007Revolution, are you getting a 473nm 60mW unit? Should be very cool to see the specs/pics of all these units, hopefully they'll be nice n' stable! Oh yeah and thanks for all your work on these GB's Glenn, truly a great deal.

haha nice first post! I can see you're also excited about purchasing something from Glenn's wonderful GB's, and I can assure you that it's really a great experience (unless you're in an immediate hurry and need something NOW). Anyways nice collection and welcome to LPF!

It will be $1200+ if they even really offer these. Even at $1500 it would be a good price for that much power. I wouldn't expect it to be remarkably stable, however.
I tried to get a quote on the 80mW blues which were advertised, however I was told that they are only selling up to 50mW units.

well judging by the overspecs of the 400mW (and similar) variants, I think this "800mW" rating is gonna pack a bit more punch than one could ask for

anyways $1500 would still be a STEAL! makes me wonder when they'll finally start making the M-series in >200mW again (300mW is my 532nm sweet spot :yh
