I have got a lot of questons:
and it's the same as the dragonlasers' spartan (they re-sell and re-label CNI products)
But is there a LED-indicator, a key switch and a remote connector?
And how I can buy a laser without waiting for the group and how many persons must buy the laser to get discount?
And the last question: How are they packed?

Go and talk to CNI if you want to order directly from them.
The packages are very well packed!
Don´t expect a laser, from your order till playing with it, less than 1 month.

And how I can buy a laser without waiting for the group

Expanding on what DJNY said, be prepared for some serious sticker shock at the price they quote you for a single laser. Look at what they quoted aryntha for a single 150mW 671nm portable versus what Glenn can get us in the group buys, yikes.

Yes, as some people mentioned I think the one-off price is a "Go away, unless you're placing a serious order" sort of thing. Glenn's price was 1/4th of what CNI quoted me directly.

IMO the group buy process is well worth the wait.

about the price, i am not surprised by it.... according to Ryan @ freaklasers:

We certainly hear of Cni, a top 1 laser manufacturer in China, and Volunteer is just the cni product but the feature is so few, while that's why the Pioneer(the jetlasers product) is more popular among laser hobbyists coz they use the sample LD and parts, only differing in the look, but Pioneer series has more features, such as focusable features, etc.

Cni lasers costs a little more, coz their resellers such as dragonlasers, laserglow or wickedlasers have been trying to monopolize the high Price market(they sell them at twice the pricing in English market) but fortunately or unfortunately, domestic companies gets along better with cni.

The plus of cni in China is its partnership with the corrupt Chinese government. It knows no market and don't mind if their resellers sells their products at a Reasonable pricing.

Talk to u later, and nice day.

i think both CNI & JETLASERS use the nLight LD

On the other hand I got my 473nm GLP-50 for $520 directly from CNI

Do you mean I can get the PGL=III-M-589nm 80mW for ca. 300$ or the PGL III-M-532nm 200mW for 80$?:wtf:

Err, no? I'm just saying that this was the case with the PGL-III-C-671. CNI quoted me $1350, Glenn can get them for $345.

That doesn't mean that the same pattern follows for every laser that CNI makes, but it does mean that Glenn can usually get them for less in these group buys than what CNI quotes you as an individual. (Not that whatever CNI quotes you, Glenn will be able to do 1/4th. I never said that.)

Guys. looking for this one:

Category:
Portable Green for 18650 battery, PGL III -C-532 nm
Type:250 mW $405 Note: 250 mW and under also can be ordered w/ 2X "C" battery powered model
What do you recommend for power cells? 18650 or 2 C´s? I´d like C, but if is it worse, I don´t need it.

How about price? I really don´t expect one quarter of advertised price(three quarter discount), typically not even one half, but need to know how much money should I acquire, what should I expect.

To answer the battery question I would rather have 18650s. And about your second question... wth are you talking about? 405$ IS the discounted price. Those are the group buy prices that is what you have to pay + about 25$ shipping.

18650 all the way!!!

As far as the packaging question, I came here to ask almost the same thing. Do lasers in the GB's come in individual hard cases?

Now that´s big shit on my head. Sorry guys, my english is not so good at undertanding - his first words are "Please note: These are the "base prices" " - and that looks like it´s not discount price for me. Can´t help myself.

Go ask CNI for a quote to send one to you, then you will understand. Base price is the discounted GB price, to which you need to add postage and paypal fees.

And can you please moderate your language? It's not necessary :tsk:
