Ok guys got all number except for alexzuxphinea.
Also a good thing is that the new members and smeerworst paid as agift! That way i build a reserve for unexpected costs which occured now -> paypal fees of kevins payment we split the paypal fee's. so were almost set now i hope the last number is here tonight so i can immediatly pay kevin.

Side note, I would think kevin would have:
1. Included the paypal fees in his price quote to you in the beginning
2. Noted that phone numbers were required in the beginning
3. Waved the phone number requirement when he forgot for the sake of not keeping everyone held up
4. Be quick in his responses to a $2K+ mass buy in favor of speeding it along
That being said, his prices are good which I am grateful for. He just has a little work on the customer service side of things. He might also consider coming on here himself to talk to the people directly since this is THE laser forum to rule all laser forums. I think his sales would increase if he took a couple small steps to boost up customer service like that.
Just my 2 cents on the situation. Plus I'm practically bouncing in my seat waiting for the laser XD

I dont quite agres with on some points. He refered to using a bank transfer which is free. However i have all the money on my paypal balance and it takes ages to send that to my bank account and then it takes ages formhim to receive it.
For his respons time i am really happy actually!! He is a busy man he takes care of all the mails from the company aswell as the sales. Still he finds the time to reply to all our questions within the day. (it is a company in china!!) most companies in my own country dont even have that service!
As for the telephone number, mistakes are human this was a small one for which i am to blame. I should of asked that.
Anyway on my point of view this is still going pretty smooth

The *very* small setbacks so far are really nothing to worry about.
Compared to other group buys... this is going lightning fast.
So patience people... Patience.
Honestly, at this point, fair chance we might see lasers within 1 month of the GB start! That's unheard of... Most group buys take MONTHS.
Edit: I'm also very much for offroadfreak8582 using paypal. If for some reason sky doesn't come through, there is recourse for him... not likely to happen, but well, I like to hedge my bets.

anyway i trust kevin 100% he has allways come throughwith everything and he is doing business the right way in my opinion. If it was all my money i would of sent it all as a gift because trust him. Cant do that with other peoples money though! I really like the paypal system. Only the sellers protection could be better sometimes

I agree, don't get me wrong this seems to be going great and any minor setbacks are just that, minor. What I stated was only my point of view on what could have been slightly better. I think my post was a little more... abrasive than I intended. There are a couple of things I was unaware of that offroadfreak mentioned and I was also kind of under the impression that skylasers was much smaller than it is.
And of course thank you again offroadfreak, I wouldn't have a high powered 532nm on order if it weren't for you. This GB has saved $1015.86 assuming everyone ended up paying in.

Off road, you are the man. I am pretty new to the forum, but after seeing how most of the people on the forum are, had no problem sending the payment as a gift. As I told you earlier, except for using PayPal using my bank a count, I never paid in any other way. Figuring out to to a Monetpack and charging my account, and paying as agiftvwas actually quite simple. I have ordered my lasers in e past from Dragon Lasers and that is also a process and takes time. I think you did us all a BIG favor doing this group buy. If you do anther one, count me in. thanks again!
