i'm wonding how much that hl-520 is going to be, might go with that over the pl-405. those would be some sweet lasers for sure.

Mm good points never thought of it that way. Only i find that this is for lower powered lasers. I dont want to use a nice star pattern with a 2W laser and look in it without glasses.

Wondering what this really means?
Are you talking about on the unit itself or the case?
Is this put on automatically or do you request it?
Where is it put?

I think the cat drag is some form of hypnotism ....... buy more lasers, buy more lasers... buy more lasers....... credit card, credit card.... must spend, must spend..........

Hey guys,

Got mail from kevin. Somehow he mixed up my question. I asked how many HL-520 lasers were available, And he replied about delivering 520nm diodes only?? Anyway i will just have to specify my question.

I did also ask how much it would cost to add both diffractiongrating caps. I don't want to ask more at the same time because the more i ask, the more chance of confusion. And i really want to keep thing as simple as possible in this GB to avoid misstakes.

No nothing really special. It is a label with your LPF name printed on at the tailcap :)

520nm sounds good to me too.

TBH I'd actually prefer a couple of the bare diodes, as I have a host or two already waiting...;) Will depend on cost though! :beer:

I probably wouldn't remove it as it has a serial number for the laser on it as well.

Also news from kevin about the HL520! The website price would be 510$ i can get them for you guys in this GB for 450$!!

Also both diffraction grating caps are free in the GB! So you get two plugs and two caps!

On laserbtb,the price HL520 will be 3200 CNY.

There is a contract between me with OSRAM,I cannot resell 530nm laser diodes to
other resellers,we only can sell to the end user (who will build laser module).

That's free,people in the GB,every handheld will get the two:both star and
circle pattern caps.

Also bad news. The 80mW 460nm pen pointer is now sold as 60mW since the datasheet of osram changed! I don't know they are actually 60 mW or 80mW but you only will be assured of 60 mW now. For people that want to retreat that laser i understand.

Just for the record. This is a complete laser in the HL host and not just the diode ?
Put one down for me then.
